James has been an RMT since 2003.
James is excited to begin a new chapter in his career by learning about organ specific techniques (Visceral). He uses a variety of techniques to help with chronic and acute pain.
Some of the conditions he treats are: muscle strains; whiplash; running injuries; and postural dysfunction. Techniques James uses in a typical visit will include Neuro-Kinetic Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, Fascial Manipulation, Deep Tissue Massage, Visceral techniques and a variety of musculoskeletal modalities to stretch tight tissue and correct alignment.
James is attending CMTA National Conference in September 2024. Which is dedicated to evidence informed research on the benefits of registered massage therapy. Internationally recognized presenters will speak on such topics as rehabilitation, diversity, and pain management .
In December 2024 James will be taking the first level of neural manipulation, which is a light hands on treatment that releases local nerve restrictions while at the same time examines the effect these local fixations have on the rest of the body., and by accessing this relationship, changes the more comprehensive global dysfunctional patterns.
In March/April of 2025 James will be taking the second level of visceral manipulation to assist functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, eliminatory, neuroendocrine and lymphatic dysfunction.
